Martina Šilhánová, Nestlé

She has been working at Nestlé since 2015 and starting in 2021 in the position of sustainability lead Nestlé CZ&SK. She has been working with companies and non-profit organizations on various projects for more than 10 years. Sustainability is an important topic for her both within the company and in society. She sees education in this area as a sore point, and therefore, as part of her position, she cooperates in the preparation and inclusion of sustainability education in elementary school teaching in the Nestlé program for children’s health.

At Nestlé, she is in charge of sustainability across the entire company, from changing the corporate culture to cooperation and implementation of solutions and measures in individual divisions and teams with the aim of ensuring circularity, reducing CO2e emissions and fulfilling obligations arising from the Nestlé NetZero Roadmap. Cooperation is an integral part of all sustainability and is a condition for achieving the goals set by the company, therefore she participates in projects across the company and searches for and actively participates in projects to spread awareness about sustainability and open up topics in society such as the transformation of agriculture from conventional to regenerative and many other topics.
